Optometrist

Tara Bailey O.D.

Dr. Bailey grew up in the small rural town of Seymour, TX. She wanted to be an eye doctor from an early age. Dr. Bailey completed a Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree in Biology from Abilene Christian University in Abilene, TX.

She received a Doctorate of Optometry from the University Of Houston College Of Optometry in 2009. Since that time, Dr. Bailey has been practicing in Waller. She gained experience in clinical externships with Good Neighbor Eye Clinic, which serves the underprivileged populations of inner Houston, and Eye Center of Texas, a large ophthalmology group in Houston, TX. She is an active member of American Optometric Association, Texas Optometric Association, and the Waller Area Chamber of Commerce.

In her free time, Dr. Bailey adores spending time with her husband, daughter and son. She enjoys reading, exercising, being actively involved with her church family and providing desperately needed eye care to populations in Haiti, Guatemala and Africa. Dr. Bailey resides with her family in Katy, TX.

Jose Payan O.D.

Dr. Bailey and Dr. Payan graduated from University of Houston College of Optometry together in 2009, and he shares the same passion as Dr. Bailey of providing excellent eye care to his patients. Dr. Payan brings 16 years of experience and knowledge of medical optometry, diagnostic and glaucoma procedures, and complex contact lens fittings to our practice.

He is dedicated to providing personalized eye care and building strong relationships with patients. Dr. Payan served in the U.S Army in Germany and San Antonio where he trained as an ophthalmic assistant and later went on to assist in the opening of the first military optometry/ophthalmology-combined clinic at Brooke Army Medical Center. He enjoys having the ability to make an immediate difference in his patients’ lives by improving their quality of vision.
